Though the skies was overcast with a high chance of rain, it did not stop over 80 Indonesian students of PSB Academy from coming to East Coast Park on Friday, 20 November 2009. On that evening, MAPIA held a BBQ party which was opened for all Indonesian students inAcademy to celebrate MAPIA’s victory in PSB Olympic, serving to strengthen the bond between each other.

The event started at around 7 p.m. Due to the humid weather, it took some time to light up the charcoal. While waiting, we rented bicycles while others chatted with their friends and ate some snacks like potato chips and fries. We were honoured to have Lydia from STA and Tash Canlas as our special guests. We were thrilled when some of the alumni like Ilung also came to the BBQ Night.

Overall, it was an enjoyable and memorable moment for the Indonesian students as it was the time when everyone gathered together. Hopefully, we will be able to organize more of such events and more students will be able to participate.
